My Egotistic Self

Well here is where I get to express my own version of my life and its current status............

As you may or may not know I am currently in London working for a large multinational, well actually two of them.... I guess that makes me twice the devil. But as the great Australian lyricist Kyle Minoge says better the devil you know.... better the devil you know.... (I am kidding about the lyricist bit).

But the main point of the whole London exercise is of course to experience the world in all of its glory and lack thereof for that mater. I think that if one is looking for a holistic approach to life and is seeking to obtain a better understanding of those around them then traveling is an essential part of that process.

Generally my interests revolve around the search for meaning and understanding. Presently I am interested in the structure of knowledge and I would like to present to you a frame work which can be used join together the different streams of study. Largely this work is based on the ideas of others and I would never claim that what I present is in anyway valid or even of interest to people other then myself. Anyway check out my Philosophy page..... You may even find some interesting links. I also plan to have some book reviews posted on the page in the future.

Well now to my social conditioning..... I was born in Charleville Australia in 1976 and then moved to Brisbane which is the capital of the state of Queensland. As I have already mentioned I then moved over to London in the UK for a while and the next step in this exciting story is yet to be written.

Routine was the theme. He'd wake up wash and pour himself into uniform.
Something he hadn't imagined being.
As the merging traffic passed he found himself staring down at his own hands.
Not remembering the change. Not recalling the plan. Was it?

He was okay but wondering about wandering.
Was his age by consequence or was he moved by sleight of hand?
Mondays were made to fall. Lost on a road he knew by heart.
It was like a book he read in his sleep. Endlessly.
Sometimes he hid in the radio watching other pull into their homes.
While he was drifting.

On a line of his own. Off the line of the side. Bye the by.
As dirt turned to sand. As if moved by sleight of hand.

When he reached the shore of his clip on world he resurfaced to the norm.
Organized his few things. His coat and keys.
And he knew realizations would have to wait.
Till he had more time. More time.

A time to dream to himself. He waves goodbye to his self.
I'll see you on the other side.
Another man moved by slight of hand.
